Hot holiday home offers as makers count cost of chilly spring
Park Holidays UK is offering some of its hottest-ever ownership deals, thanks to new price cuts negotiated with some of Britain's top holiday home manufacturers.
The cold start to spring put the brakes on demand for many of these firms, and that has resulted in their having an oversupply of brand new 2018 models.
Now Park Holidays UK has come to their aid by agreeing to take on some of this stock at deeply discounted prices – and will be passing the savings onto customers.
The bargains are all to be had in the group's Added Xtra Event which, says Park Holidays UK, must finish on 31st May.
As well as the cut-price new 2018 models, there are also offers on unused 2017 holiday homes used only for display, and pre-owned caravan holiday homes and lodges.
And for all buyers, the Added Xtra Event now features another valuable incentive worth literally thousands of pounds to every purchaser.
That's because Park Holidays UK has decided to give Xtra Event buyers free pitch fees throughout all of 2018 and 2019 on their holiday home.
It means that the privileged lifestyle of holiday home ownership is now within the financial reach of more leisure-loving families than ever before.
And for owners choosing to make their holiday homes available to other families through Park Holidays UK's Guaranteed Letting Scheme, there are even more savings to be had.
That's because the company will calculate how much could be earned from letting, based on the number of weeks put aside, and pay this up-front as a deposit on the purchase.
The deposit contributions start from around £3000, and could rise as high as £9,590 per customer.
With most of the group's parks now remaining open for up to 50 weeks of the year, growing numbers of people now see sub-letting as a major bonus of ownership.
Park Holidays UK says that the Xtra deals can also be taken alongside its special finance options for those not wishing to use their own funds.
However, says the company, its Xtra promotion must be time-capped, and families will have to get the ball rolling by the end of May in order to gain all of the benefits.
